The Moana is one of the rare dive liveaboard operating in Komodo area all year long and that allow a flexible schedule for Diving and Non-Diving cruises. Perfect solution for Family and small group of friend. Moana is a classic Phinisi schooner with years experience sailing in the Komodo, it offers a regular 6D/5N trip in the Komodo National Park, it can accommodates max. 10 divers on board.
Moana is a classic 30 meters long, 6.5 meters wide Phinisi Schooner, built in a traditional style during April 2003 and April 2004, equipped with all the comforts of a new boat.
Moana is entirely made from teak and ironwood, which lends a warm and comfortable air to the boat. It is cozy and professional, traditional and modern, relaxed but well organized, running by a German team, ideal for small group who wish to charter.
On the upper deck, there has a huge amount of space : There is an air-conditioned indoor salon with comfortable sofa sitting area, lounge table, a CD player, as well as a small library with books.
There are also lots of open deck area to realax during the cruise, the spacious dining area with romantic indirect lightening are located in front of the boat, and offering a great ocean view.
Moana also can provide blankets for outdoor lovers to sleep on deck and watching the stars during the night.
Moana’s well trained diving crew takes care of everything, from the equipment set up until the cleaning at the end of the trip. Equipment and thanks are maintained and refilled at the diving platform at the stern of the boat.
Moana has 5 beautifully crafted air-conditioned cabins, it can accommodates only 10 divers or 12 non-diver guests on board, perfect for small group wish to do a charter trip：
All cabins are located on the lower deck, with private bathroom, individually controlled air conditioning, storage area, soap toiletries, European standard sockets 220V, portholes.
Cabin No.1,2,3 : Each with a double bed, ideal for couples.
Cabin No.4 & No. 5 : Each with a 2 single bed.
4 dives per day, depending on sea conditions/route.
Every trip only host up to 10 divers max.
Normally, 1 - 2 dives will be provided on the day of arrival.
2 dives will be provided on the day before departure.
No dives will be provided on the day of departure.
All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
