The Elegante is a beautiful sailing ship providing dive trips in the Sudanese Red Sea area with diving around the most amazing reefs of this region. It can host 14 guests maximum on board.
The Elegante is a dive liveaboard completely renovated in 2009 and designed to offer the maximum safety and comfort during navigation. Measuring 25m long and 6.5m wide, she is powered with an engine Fiat Iveco AIFO 260 HP Diesel and cruises at 10 knots per hour. She has 220 volt power on board.
The acknowledged skills and experience of the crew will ensure you a high level cruise. The staff consists of an Italian skipper and a crew of four people, including the chef. On board are also always present a dive instructor and a dive master, so it is possible to achieve “Open Water” or “Advanced” degrees. Two tenders will be used for diving (4.6m and 4.8m long).
The Elegante has three power generators and two air compressors for cylinders refilling, with electric and petrol engines. These double systems avoid any possible damage and will guarantee you no problem during your cruise.
In the common large salon with restaurant and bar area, there is everything you need to enjoy yourselves: a TV, VCR and HI-FI equipment. There is also air conditioning throughout the boat.
The Elegante has a very large teak wood deck, the front of which is normally used for dressing for diving and the back as the restaurant area, relaxation and sunbathing.
You will also enjoy the particular care given to the cuisine: even the most delicate palates will be satisfied, with a varied and rich of pleasant surprises menu, mostly Italian and International specialties.
The Elegante has 7 cabins and can accommodate up to 14 guests.
All cabins come with individual air-conditioning.
3 matrimonial double Cabins:
Equipped with private bathroom and shower, towels and bathrobes.
Two of them are Suites, and come with a fridge, a bar and stereo HI-FI diffusers.
4 double Cabins:
Equipped with private bathroom and shower, towels and bathrobes.
16 dives per week including 2 night dives, with the respect of safety and norms.
Weights and tanks with standard yoke and DIN valves are included.
All diving will provide expected guide to lead the dive and will be provided from two tender boats.
Dive insurance：Divers traveling aboard must have valid dive insurance.
Crew Number：6 or 7, including 1 or 2 dive guides.
Payment on board：By cash (EUR/USD) only, credit cards and Travelers Checks are not accepted in Sudan.
