Celebes Explorer is the only liveaboard can guarantee to bring scuba divers to Sipadan Island in Malaysia, it offers 4 to 7 days liveaboard trip, can max. host 16 guests per trip.
Celebes Explorer is a 29 metres long, 7.2 meters wide strong steel dive liveaboard, it was launched in November 2001, can cruise at 8 to 10 knots, and yet it’s the only liveaboard can provide dive trips inside of the Sipadan Marine Park.
Celebes Explorer features an indoor air conditioned lounge with TV, DVD/CD/VCD player, sitting area, as well as a self service mini bar that provides 24 hours free water, coffee, tea, milo, biscuit & bread, snacks. The dining area and galley is adjacent to the salon.
The spacious upper sundeck is partially covered with canvas. There are tables, wooden chairs & beach mattress for relaxation. Smoking is allowed at the sundeck.
Celebes Explorer has a large dive deck with equipment storage, air/Nitrox fill station, rinse tanks, freshwater shower.
Celebes Explorer offers guaranteed dives in Sipadan from Monday to Saturday, normally 3 to 4 dives a day, except the first & last diving day which offers 2 to 3 dives only.
Celebes Explorer has 8 cabins, can sleeps up to 18 guests.
All cabins have air conditioner, wardrobe, desk, lifejacket, soap, bath towel, ensuite bathroom, BF type 240v electric plug.
2 Double Cabins:
Located on the main deck, with 1 double bed.
6 Twin/Double Cabins:
Located on the lower deck, with one single bed and one queen bed (bunk style).
4 dives per day (3 dives on the last day) depends on sea condition.
No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
