Carpe Novo Explorer is a professional dive yacht running by Explorer Ventures Fleet, it offers different dive routes in the Maldives according to the season, it can sleeps max. up to 22 guests.
Carpe Novo Explorer is a 43 meters long, 11 meters wide professional dive liveaboard built in 2016, It has the latest marine equipment to ensure the safety and comfort, it can reach 12 knots cruising speed.
Carpe Novo Explorer has a large air-conditioned lounge and leisure area on the main deck. There is TV viewing area with DVD/CD and stereo music system. And there is also a forward outdoor seating area, a common restroom, a galley, and a dedicated camera room with charging station and tables on the main deck.
The upper deck features a large dining area with comfortable lounge chairs, and provides access via an outside walkway to the front deck area.
All diving is done from a custom-designed 60 foot diving dhoni (tender). The dhoni has ample space for all divers, cameras and gear. There are individual gear bins for each diver, separate camera and wetsuit rinse tanks and two hot-water showers aboard. Both the air and nitrox compressors are on the dhoni as well.
Carpe Novo Explorer is also equipped with a wireless router providing internet connection (additional charges apply). Cellular phone and internet access is available when in proximity to some of the islands if your phone is so equipped.
Internet cards and cellular phone cards are available for purchase at the airport.
Carpe Novo Explorer has two computers for guest use as well as USB connections for a personal computer. The vessel’s location does determine reliability of access to the internet.
Carpe Novo Explorer has 12 modern, comfortable staterooms, can comfortably accommodates 22 guests.
All cabins have ensuite bathroom, air conditioning system, storage area and other cabin facilities。
There is a HD media players along with a small selection of movies and music are available for guest use in each cabin.
4 Upper Deck Junior Suites:
Located on the Upper deck, with a king or 2 super single beds, 2 hanging closets, chair/desk/dresser, large windows, flat panel TV/ HD player, private ensuite bathroom with dual sinks and shower.
2 Main Deck Single Staterooms:
Located on the main deck, with a queen bed, desk/chair, flat panel TV/HD player, dresser, hanging closet, large windows.
6 Lower Deck Staterooms:
Located on the lower deck, with one queen and one twin bed, desk/chair, dresser, hanging closet, port holes, TV/HD player.
Up to 3 dives per day (plus 1 to 2 night dives per trip).
No dive provided on the day of arrival and departure.
All diving will provide experienced guide to lead the dive.
All divers must have a submersible console.
