The Banda Sea is all around the Maluku Islands of Indonesia, she is connected directly to the Pacific Ocean but surrounded by hundreds of islands, her situation in Indonesia is similar to Halmahera’s Sea and Ceram Sea. The dimension of the Banda Sea is about 1000 km east to west and about 500 km north to south. The islands located in the middle of the Banda Sea, including Banda Neira, Gungung Api, Manuk and Lucipara are only accessible by liveaboard diving. We offer different possibilities in terms of itinerary and cruise length from 8 to 12 nights from and to different location.
We give you the opportunity to dive these remote locations in November and April only. As most of Indonesian Diving Liveaboard will cross the Banda Sea between Komodo and Raja Ampat diving seasons. These trips offer a perfect combination of walls and pinnacles, coral gardens and muck diving with the chance to explore new sites and find new creatures. East areas also reveals some special GPS point with school of hammerhead sharks. Itinerary are point to point including : Maumere, Alor, Saumalaki, Ambon, Yamdena and Sorong.
