With clear, deep blue waters, abundant sea life, white sand beaches and inspiring vistas, the Sea of Cortez - known as the Gulf of California - is a breathtaking destination for amazing scuba diving onboard Rocio Del Mar.
The Rocio Del Mar is a 34 Metre (110ft) dive yacht, built and powered for comfort, safety and stability.
She is twin diesel-powered and can cruise at 10 knots and has 110 volt power on board.
The Rocio Del Mar sleeps up to 20 guests in privacy and comfort.
The main deck has a beautiful air conditioned salon with a TV/DVD and an assortment of movies and books. The air conditioned dining area is separate and has a TV.
The upper deck is shaded and has sofas and tables.
For those that enjoy the sun there is a top level sun deck with chaise longues and BBQ.
The dive deck is spacious and well equipped with personal gear boxes and an in-place fill station. A camera table with low pressure air hose and a rinse tank are conveniently located for washing dive equipment and cameras.
The aft of the dive deck is equipped with exit ladders, fin storage and freshwater showers.
The Rocio Del Mar has 10 comfortable staterooms.
All cabins have private head with shower, drawers beneath the beds, AC and are carpeted.
Upper deck
2 Staterooms (no 9 & 10): Double bed (lower) and single (upper) bunk-style bed, window.
Main deck
2 Staterooms (no 7 & 8): Double bed, window.
6 Staterooms (no 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6): Two single beds, window.
Sea of Cortez trip: 3 to 4 dives per day and 2 night dives during the week.
Socorro trip: 3 to 4 dives per day (except on the first day).
Weights, weight belts and 80 cu. ft. (12l) aluminium tanks with standard yoke and DIN valves are included.
All dives are guided by professionals and from inflatable dinghies.
Nitrox Available: $120 per week .
100 cu.ft (15l) Steel Tank Available: Rate on request and must be booked in advance.
