Seahorse Diving Liveaboard in Raja Ampat, Cendrawasih Bay, Banda Sea, Ambon | Dive Indonesia
At 33 meters long and 8.5 meters wide, the MSY Seahorse is a spacious and majestic vessel built in the traditional Indonesian seafarers style from the island of Sulawesi, commonly known as the Bugis. Being a classic wooden Pinisi, it is nevertheless fully modernized and thus, combines the vintage beauty of traditional craftsmanship with contemporary conveniences and safety features, providing comfort and coziness in the remotest waters of the Indonesian archipelago, where it cruises year-round, spending the months May to September in the Komodo region and then October through April in Indonesian Papua - Raja Ampat, Cenderawasih and Triton Bays. MSY Seahorse also sails through the waters of the Banda Sea and Alor archipelago twice a year.
MSY Seahorse can comfortably accommodate up to 16 guests, who are attended to by 12 crew members. For meeting various cabin demands, the boat provides 3 different levels of deluxe accommodation, all of them having individually controlled air-conditioning, private en-suite bathrooms with hot water and plenty of room for storage. Five Standard cabins are situated on the lower deck, each of them is 12 square meters large and has two single beds sized 90 by 200 cm and porthole windows. Two Deluxe cabins are located on the middle deck, providing accommodation for couples with a 150 by 200 cm double bed, desk, TV and DVD player. Their size is 13.5 square meters. For honeymooners and luxury lovers there is a 15 square meter Master cabin on the main deck with a large double bed, big desk, TV, DVD player and plenty of windows for natural light.
The restaurant is located on the main deck and this is where 4 mouth-watering meals a day are served. Descending from a long tradition of big family home-cooked meals in Spain, the professional chef will present the guests with a delicious menu of carefully selected dishes. Between dives and food, guests have the chance to relax on fully-opened or partially-shaded decks in cozy sun beds with a cup of tea, coffee, or a good book from the on-board library.
