Diving Liveaboard for 8 Days / 7 Nights or 6 Days / 5 Nights in Sea of Cortez on MV Narval

The MV Narval was built in Mayport, Florida in 1974. It underwent a complete reconstruction of the hull in October 1992. Between 2007 and 2008 the hull further underwent a 60% hull change and the decks were refitted entirely.

The MV Narval is a Mexican registered, commercial passenger, vessel certified under the "Nacional de Seguridad Maritima", the equivalent to the Canadian/US Department of Transport. It has the legally required safety inspection certificate, permits to access the area we explore and is registered with the Ministry of Tourism.

The dual level decks are ideal for wildlife viewing and spaciously comfortable for guest gatherings. The bow (front of the boat) offers an amazing vantage point for dolphin and whale encounters, while the stern (dive deck) is ideal for the serious divers.

The upper back deck is also great for guest gatherings making it an ideal place for afternoon cocktails and hors d’oeurves.

On the lower deck there is 6 double staterooms with 2 single “bunk” beds each, on the main deck we have the divemaster’s quarters as well as 2 staterooms with 1 double bed and 1 single bed on top. On the top deck we have 1 suite with 1 double bed & 1 single bunk bed. All the staterooms have air conditioning and ensuite full bathroom.
