Murex Manado was one of the first dive centre in the Bunaken Marin Park and since 1987, they provide to their guest a maximum of services and special care.

They have beautiful cottages next to soothing water streams will bring relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that you are looking for.

Murex also offers myriad non-diving activities. As a guest, you will enjoy spectacular highland tours, horseback riding, guided treks in Tangkoko National Wildlife Preserve, volcano trekking, trips to traditional marketplaces and white water rafting.

A very popular non-activity is doing nothing but lazing on our private secluded beaches at Murex.

Diving :

There are well over 30 dive sites within easy boat ride from our three resorts. Dive flexibility as they tailor the diving to your level of experience and personal preferences offering dive trip with limited numbers to ensure individual attention.

They are the first nitrox producer in North Sulawesi. Most of the dive professionals here have been working for years. They are supremely experienced at guiding guests, they know the sites intimately and go out of their way to show you the interesting creatures that inhabit them.

Dive briefings are mandatory and comprehensive. All the dive crew are fluent in English. All the boats carry oxygen and all the personnel are fully trained in its use.

There is a hyperbaric (re-compression) chamber at Manado General Hospital, which has been created by the Murex’s founder and owner, Dr Batuna.
