Bangka Murex Dive Resort ^{Dives in Bangka Island and Gangga Island, Siau, Lembeh Strait}

Facilities :

On Bangka Island you will relax a lot and dive in the same time, nothing else to do and that’s why people and diver love this paradise place.

Murex was a pioneer in diving in North Sulawesi and they got the good idea to get this private beach just in front of the mainland. They developed 14 Chalets, more or less the same, just few meter from the sea and you will love the wake-up, just stretching on your balcony before going for the breakfast.

All the Staff working there have a happy life we could think as the time looks having stopped.

The ride from the mainland is 30min with the Murex local boat and you have to add another 45min drive from the airport before taking the boat. The countryside you’ll see during the drive is very nice.

Diving :

Depending your choice, the diving team on Bangka organise a morning dive trip for 2 dives then the boat is coming back to the resort for the lunch and relax a bit. Then you can go for the afternoon dive trip for 1 dive, as the boat usually leave around 03:00 PM from the beach, just few meter away from your bungalow.

the first day, depending the time you’ll arrive to the resort, you can maybe just make the House Reef dive as it’s full of colour and plenty of Pygmy Seahorse to spot, but as you guess, it’s maybe better to have a local dive guide to help you spotting it as it’s really really small and tiny.

So as sea lovers and passionate diver, we really recommend this dive resort for the staff sympathy, you really can relax and make wonderful dives.

The Dive centre don’t have so much dive equipment for rent so it’s really important to tell us before you go what would you need

You can easily make a dive trip to Lembeh Strait while staying at the Bangka Resort, it’ll be a full day out.
