Thanks to the central location in the southern part of North Malé’ Atoll, we can offer you a variety of over 40 different dive sites which include all the well known highlights in the area such as the Banana Reef, Barracuda Giri, Victory Wreck, Paradise Rock, Rainbow Giri, Lion’s Head, Old Shark Point, and of course seasonal Manta Points like Lankan Reef and Furana North from September to December or Boduhithi Thila and Rasfaree from January to April.

Diving Centre

The Dive Bandos has a very good reputation and is one of the longest established centres in the Maldives. The Dive Center is a spacious facility complete with air-conditioned audio visual classrooms, library, hot water showers and spacious storage rooms. Dive Bandos has a fleet of up to 4 modern, spacious fibre glass dhonis, all equipped with life vests, first aid equipment, DAN Oxygen Kits and radio to enable communication with the Dive Centre and the island. The experienced and well-trained boat crew are always ready to help you in any way they can. All our staff are regularly trained in emergency first aid techniques. In all emergencies, a Medical Clinic with a Decompression Chamber is at your disposal. While diving with Bandos, all divers are insured free of charge against Decompression Sickness (DCS), requiring chamber treatments up to €6000. Bandos Medical has two Medical doctors (European), a General Practitioner and a Dive Medical Officer and a nurse on location 24 hrs. a day.
